Platform migrations your cardholders never notice
We help banks, processors and fintechs move card management, switching, acquiring and security platforms to new vendors or the cloud, with careful planning, parallel running and a cutover that keeps every payment flowing.

What our clients are up against
Data that must match exactly
Card records, balances, keys and history must arrive complete and reconciled, with every difference explained before cutover.
Many parties, one cutover
Card networks, vendors, regulators and internal teams each have their own timelines and notification requirements to align.
A safe way back
Leadership needs confidence that if something unexpected happens, the business can return to the previous platform quickly.
How we cover Platform Migrations
Migration strategy and planning
Choose the right approach and sequence before any data moves.
- Legacy-to-cloud and vendor-to-vendor migration strategies
- Bank identification number (BIN) and portfolio migrations
- Vendor evaluation and selection for target platforms
- Phased, big-bang or hybrid cutover approach selection
- Card network, regulator and partner notification planning
Platforms we migrate
Apply payments expertise to each type of platform being replaced.
- Card management system (CMS) migration to cloud-native microservices
- Payment switch and authorization host migrations
- Acquiring platform and POS vendor migrations
- Core payment and settlement platform migrations
- Hardware security module (HSM) and key migrations
- Trusted Service Manager (TSM) and network token migrations
Data migration and reconciliation
Move every record and prove it arrived correctly.
- Data mapping, cleansing and transformation rules
- Trial migrations and data quality reporting
- Automated reconciliation of balances, cards and transactions
- Key and credential migration under secure controls
Parallel run, cutover and rollback
Switch over with confidence and a clear path back.
- Parallel run design and transaction comparison
- ISO 8583 to ISO 20022 coexistence and message transformation
- Cutover runbooks, rehearsals and go or no-go criteria
- Rollback plans and post-cutover stabilization

Services, case studies and tools
Should we migrate everything at once or in phases?
It depends on how tightly your systems are connected and how much risk you can accept on a single day. Phased migrations, by portfolio, region or service, reduce risk but run two platforms for longer. A single cutover is shorter but needs more rehearsal. We assess your landscape and recommend the approach with the right balance.
How do you make sure no data is lost?
We define mapping and transformation rules for every record type, then run trial migrations against copies of production data. Automated reconciliation compares cards, balances, limits and history between old and new platforms, and every difference is explained or fixed before cutover. The same checks run again on the day itself.
Can we keep running ISO 8583 while adopting ISO 20022?
Yes. Most institutions run both for years, typically ISO 8583 for card networks and ISO 20022 for account-to-account and instant payments. We design transformation and routing layers so both formats work side by side, and plan which interfaces move to ISO 20022 and when.
Who needs to be told about a BIN or platform migration?
Usually the card networks, your sponsor bank if you have one, your regulator, wallet and token service partners, and sometimes merchants or cardholders. Each has its own lead times and forms. We build a notification plan early so these steps sit on the critical path, not at the end.
